ok opportunity with the cpu card interface redesign to do a layout change, i'm taking out the atsam4s and replacing it with a VC0345 camera IC, PCA9536 I2C-to-GPIO converter, and am putting in a Micro-SD on the top edge of the PCB (so that things like the IC1T card can use it). ethernet and the extra USB i will route to an FPC which can go to a daughterboard for when this is used in a mini laptop. USB audio remains as-is using the CM108AH.
basically the tablet pcb becomes a usb / i2c peripheral board, something i didn't want to do because i wanted the educational and experimentation sector covered as well.

How are you going to connect the microSD (using the GPIO of the EOMA-68 or the PCA9536 I2C-to-GPIO converter)?
What is the webpage of this tablet/laptop (I've only found the old webpage of the kde tablet: http://rhombus-tech.net/community_ideas/kde_tablet/news/)?
Thanks.

correct. 6 GPIO pins are now multiplexed to SDMMC.
or the PCA9536 I2C-to-GPIO converter)?
that would be daft, fanning out 50mhz 4-wire parallel SD/MMC onto a 4mbit/sec serial interface :)

i am very busy so have not added a new news entry yet.
Thanks.

A stupid question.
How have you connected the power/reset button?
Thanks.
