 well, the good news there is that the hardware design files will be
available under open license.  and broadcom *is* actually getting
witth the picture (under pressure) and has been releasing the source
code of what was previously proprietary show-stopper binaries.

The bad news is that I'm now getting visions of TV,NAS,Router,PVR "RPi SOM" compatible devices. Making the RPi SOM SO-DIMM interface a sort of standard. Where these should have been EOMA-68 compatible.
