 i know that, you know that.... but they've taken the libre definition
of the "four freedoms", transliterated it to a hardware world... and
called it OPEN HARDWARE (!!!)

​Not perfectly. In theory, really "libre" hardware ​should make the chip sources available too. What is classified as "open source hardware" hardly have any non-secret chips, because the definition they came up with allows that.
